What are IEEE 829 Test Plan Standards?
Hi All, I know I have been away from posting on this blog since long and I apologize for that. There were few things which needed to be taken care of so my blogging activity was side lined. I would try to be more regular in posting new articles on this blog now onwards.
Recently, I have been searching a lot on testing jargons and come across a list of IEEE 829 Test Plan Standards as it was something which is not known generally.
This could be the list of standards to make your test plan IEEE 829 compliant as per the source.
1. Test plan identifier.
2. Introduction.
3. Test items.
4. Features to be tested.
5. Features not to be tested.
6. Approach.
7. Item pass/fail criteria.
8. Suspension criteria and resumption requirements.
9. Test deliverables.
10. Testing tasks.
11. Environmental needs.
12. Responsibilities.
13. Staffing and training needs.
14. Schedule.
15. Risks and contingencies.
16. Approvals.

Hello,
Very interesting post! I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't mind posting on a new community-testing website: http://www.utest.com. We're always interested in hearing more input from great QA people like yourself.
Best,

Hi there,
Found some sad thoughts about software testing in http://hardtocode.blogspot.com
I totally disagree with them but I think they express what most developers feel about software testers.
Have you ever felt some kind of "discrimination" from them?
hello,
waiting for new posts :)
Your blog is very useful. Can I add your blog in my blog feed please? Many thanks!!!
